My definite second-favorite Bronson film by far. The action in this is SUPERB and it's an all-around treasure. There are some melon farmers that ya just shouldn't piss off...
Has anyone here read the novel by Elmore Leonard? It kicks absolute ass.

Did you know "MISTER MAJESTYK" was a vehicle written with Clint Eastwood in mind, for the title role ? Elmore Leonard had just done "JOE KIDD" for him...

I respect Eastwood but I think he couldn't make a great Majestyk. He could make a cool Majestyk but not a tough one.In some scenes were Majestyk punches Renda it would be ridiculous because Eastwood doesn't look tough and strong enough to beat Renda but Bronson did.

Agreed, the great thing about this movie is that Majestyk's character is nearly as bad as his enemies. No tough guy actor other than Bronson could have conveyed how harsh and unforgiving this character was. All round a very good action movie with a great car chase and a good ending.

In Stallone's new movie "The Expendables" there is a scene in which Stallone drives a Ford truck and Jet Li is in the back of the Truck and shoots the bad guys. The same thing happens in Mr Majestyk the main difference is that the truck in Mr.Majestyk is a 1969 F-Series while in "The Expendables" they use a 1955 F100.When I watced this scene the first thing that came on my mind was that Stallone wanted to pay homage to this movie and Charlie.

One of my absolute favorite Charles Bronson movies. I guess you could tell by my username, eh? I just love it, the whole movie is such a fun ride and Bronson has rarely been more bad-ass than he is in this one. The bad guy in the movie is also a great match for Bronson, which isn't an easy feat.
