I recently aquired the Austrian Mediabook Blu-ray (BD) of this final film in the series with full 1080/24p image (there are rumours that other BDs of this are upscales) and the sound is excellent English DTS-HD Master Audio 2.0 Surround. Beyond some German bios of the cast and some German trailers there are no more extras bar the nice, illustrated Mediabook, but the text is German. Oh, you also get a DVD of the film which has identical disc content to the BD.
I liked this film best of the four sequels (the first is the only truly serious film with something to say); a well cast, well made formula sequel. Once you can get by the fact that Kersey has the worst luck in the world as regards family and friends being killed by crimmos it's a funny, zippy view with a great villain in Michael Park's Tommy O'Shea. Saul Rubinek is also good as the DA who's on Kersey's side. Park's goofy henchman steal the show however; one's a younger, loudmouth, cannoli chewing idiot; another is so stressed he's constantly popping pills; and the last one suffers from dandruff and is hyper paranoid. The sub Ennio Morricone score is also great. Another DW film (after DWII) to have a different copyright year (1993) to it's release (1994).
Slick entertainment and tons of fun!
