Director:Phil Karlson Writer(s):William Fay, Francis Wallace Actors:Elvis Presley, Gig Young, Lola Albright, Joan Blackman, Charles Bronson
This movie is very bad but not that boring. It's easily watchable cause of its funny mood.Even though it's maybe Bronson's most boring performance from 60's.It's more an Elvis long music video clip than a movie.

One of the boxers in the training camp is played by none other than Nick Dimitri, who famously fought Charlie at the end of "Hard Times". He doesn't have any lines in "Kid Galahad" but he's recognizable throughout several scenes.

It's pretty awful ! Poor Bronson with his grey hair and his limp (he seems to forget for several scenes), has nothing to do, except looking impressed by Presley's skills as a fighter. And they are not THAT impressive ! In an interview, Bronson said he went in a movie theater to see "KID GALAHAD" with his then wife, and was so ashamed, he walked out.

The most ridiculous thing is that Bronson's arms are not seen not even once in this movie. That's maybe because Bronson had big and very ripped arms and it would be embarrassing for Elvis who had spaghetti girlie arms. There is also a very ridiculous scene where SPOILER:-X Bronson is beaten by the bad guys and has his hands broken and can't help until Elvis comes and kicks everybody's ass

In an interview, Bronson said he went in a movie theater to see " KID GALAHAD" with his then wife, and was so ashamed, he walked out. That's hilarious! I know Bronson didn't like Elvis for whatever reason. I kept thinking to myself in the scene where Elvis is singing in the car with Bronson smiling behind him "This scene must be killing him!" Yeah, Bronson being in a musical where someone like Elvis gets all the attention, not surprised he didn't like it very much. Like Harmonica said, it's an easy movie to watch. Not a very good one, though.
