The Terminator was pretty much unstoppable and a machine. So, unless Hard Times Charlie had some sort of factory where he can destroy The Terminator, I'd say Charlie would lose for sure.

If you were to put the men who played the characters together (during the time they played the character) rather than the characters themselves, then I'd go with Charlie. Arnie wouldn't be able to defend himself against Charlie's combination of power and speed.

Thanks Chaney, guess I worded it wrong, so I should of said the men, instead of the characters! Thanks for correcting me.

An interesting match-up either way. No correction, merely interpretation. This is pretty fun, by the way.

Sorry, maphillips. I misunderstood your post. If it were the men, I would put money down on Charlie, no doubt.

Bronson would win.Schwarzenegger had no technique plus he was to slow to fight Bronson.

Thanks! I was never very good at writing coherent sentences in school, so it's cool if you knock it! I feel it is real funny how bad my writing can get, so thanks for bearing, and having a few laughs along the way!

Comparing the two would be like comparing apples and oranges. Arnold's rise to fame and fortune was mostly due to his bodybuilding physique, charisma and his confidence. Had those things been destroyed in his early career we may have never known his name.
Trust me when I say this...I have had dozens, and I mean dozens of fist fights in my life. Fist fights in my world means that someone gets beat up. They bleed, they get swollen and almost always get a free ride to the hospital, if for no other reason than to be checked out. And the other guy "gets out of Dodge" before the police arrive. A beating like that will always bring you back to earth and down to reality. If Arnold would have ran into the wrong person at anytime in his early career and had taken that type of beating I don't think his ego would have gotten over it. We may have never heard of him.
I don't know if Bronson ever really had those types of street fights or not, and I don't really know just what type of skills he did have. But if he had half the skills that he shows on screen, then I think he may have hurt Arnold.
Just saying.
