I was just watching "Death Hunt" today, and saw Carl Weathers(Rocky's 1-4, Predator, Action Jackson) in the movie. I was wondering if Carl has ever talked about his experience, working on "Death Hunt" with Charlie?

I was just watching "Death Hunt" today, and saw Carl Weathers(Rocky's 1-4, Predator, Action Jackson) in the movie. I was wondering if Carl has ever talked about his experience, working on "Death Hunt" with Charlie? Yes, he did. It was on one of those daytime talk shows. I think it was the Mike Douglas (remember him?) show, right when the movie came out. I'm remembering this from, what, 30 years ago, so pardon me if my memory is a bit faulty. Anyway, it went something like this...Before filming began, Carl was recounting how he walked into a room where Lee Marvin was sitting and they were talking and Carl was eating something and had a bunch of crap on his hands. Then from out of nowhere some guy blurts out, "It looks like you have snot all over your hands!" and Carl did a double take because he had no idea the guy sitting in the corner was Bronson! He said something about how Bronson had this reputation for being this tough, stand offish guy but he found him to be a fun person to be around...anyway, not such a great story...if anyone can find that Mike Douglas episode from when the movie was released... |
