FYI - Amazon review below:
"For those who love Lou Pecci's `Spaghetti Western Themes on Nylon Guitar' this solo guitar version of the famous themes from the big James Bond movies will doubtless satisfy. Pecci pays homage this time around to John Barry (1933 - 2011) an English composer and conductor of film music. He composed the soundtracks for 11 of the James Bond films between 1963 and 1987, and also arranged and performed the "James Bond Theme" to the first film in the series, 1962's Dr. No.
Pecci makes his electric guitar sound like an entire symphony orchestra but adds his own penchant for jazz to make these `transcriptions' sound fresh and new. In all it makes a delightful visit to the fantasy world of James Bond. In addition to the works composed by John Barry, Pecci adds this own composition to the last track - The Black Path - in the mode of the other works on the tracks but clearly his own sound.
The tracks contained here are as follows:
James Bond Theme ("Dr.No") - M. Norman 007 ("From Russia With Love") Into Miami ("Goldfinger") Goldfinger - Instrumental Version Switching the Body ("Thunderball") Death of Fiona ("Thunderball") The Wedding ("You Only Live Twice") On Her Majesty's Secret Service - Main Title We Have All the Time in the World ("On Her Majesty's Secret Service") Diamonds Are Forever - Main Title Tiffany Case ("Diamonds Are Forever") The Black Path - L. Pecci
Settle in with all the memories of the first time you saw these films and let Lou Pecci rev up your nostalgia. As usual, the performances are first class! Grady Harp, October 13"

fyi - Review from Indie Music Reviews: Lou Pecci puts his guitar take on James Bond classics on his album "James Bond On Electric Guitar". First there’s the obvious theme song which is identifiable. Pecci isn’t making these songs into something you won’t know, he’s just putting his spin on them from “Into Miami” from Goldfinger to “Death of Fiona” from Thunderball and right back to You Only Live Twice’s “The Wedding,” all of Pecci’s renditions stay close to the originals but still have an originality to them. If you’re a guitar fanatic or just a James Bond one, this is a must have record. (http://www.cdbaby.com/Artist/LouPecci) www.indiemusicreviews.net/lou-pecci-james-bond-on-electric-guitar/

Vintage Guitar Magazine CD review - July issue out in May 2014: Lou Pecci James Bond On Electric Guitar Following two excellent volumes of spaghetti western themes, Lou Pecci shows he’s as comfortable with John Barry compositions as with Ennio Morricone’s, and as deft on overdubbed electrics as previously on gut-strings. His own “Black Path” would make Vic Flick, the late Bond guitarist, smile. No doubt, whatever genre he tackles next will be equally fun and creative. – Dan Forte - "(c) Dan Forte; all rights reserved. From Vintage Guitar, July 2014."
