" GANG WAR" is a very cheap B movie, about a maths teacher, who after being witness to a murder in a parking lot, agrees to testify. His pregnant wife is killed by a hitman, and he seeks revenge. Of course, the fact that Bronson plays Alan Avery, makes you think of a fifties " DEATH WISH"... But it's not. A lot of screen time is devoted to the mobsters, the crooked lawyers, even the cops, and top billed Bronson has little to do. Even the ending is disapointing.

I saw "GANG WAR" a while ago, so maybe it's better than I remember... But as far as Bronson is concerned, it feels he has a small part, even if he is the star of the film. You don't have that kind of feeling, when you see his three other 1958 starring movies.
