I heard too that Walter hill didn't like taking Charlie's advice on certain aspects of the film, because the film was based on the depression, and Charlie grew up during the great depression, but Walter hill didn't listen to any of Charlie's ideas, and wanted to do things his way, and that probably pissed him off to.

Hi guys, I have a question for you. I have read this on another message board, and wondering if you can help, because people keep saying that Robert had a long standing dislike toward Bronson, but I hear of know evidence, other than his quote that said "Bronson held a pistol well". I have tried too read between the lines about this statement, but how does that pronounce hate?

This Movie is my favorite Bronson movie of all time, because this is the definitive Bronson performance! The fight scenes in this movie are way better than the "high wire" fight scenes you see today! I wondered why he, and Walter hill didn't get along?

I read the "THE SIEGEL FILM" , and didn't see any conflict with them, other than Bronson thinking that, Siegel was making fun of him, one time. I read Siegel was very complementary of Bronson, during the filming.

I was about too make a topic about this subject, because I wondered what other actors have thought about Bronson, off camera. He sounded like a very quiet person, which can be difficult to be, because most people are extroverted by nature, and seem to act nasty, or pick on people that act so diffrent than them, so Bronson definitely had to be one tough man, too live that way, and I am thankful, because alot of people are afraid to be themselves, so they don't get ridiculed, or badmouthed, but Bronson came from a different era, where you didn't give a dam what people think of you, so alot of people today can seek inspiration from him, to just be YOURSELF, and if they don't like it, SCREW THEM!

He guys! I am a huge Bronson fan, and have been for years, but the biggest thing I like about Bronson, was his physique. I have been a bodybuilding enthusiasts, since the sixth grade, so I can appreciate Bronson's physique, because his body wasn't made in a few days, it took YEARS of hard work, and discipline. I don't really believe that enough people, understand how long, and difficult that is to get, and maintain a body like Charles Bronson, but from all my years of being in the fitness industry, that I have deep admiration for what Charlie achieved! I would like too know, if theirs any problem, if anybody knows more about his fitness regimen, because I goggle the information, and only get that Charles Bronson that's in prison, so it's been tough! Thanks for this awesome sight, and forum. Talk too you soon!
