The "Charles Bronson-James Coburn" from "Hard Times" was the best screen couple. Those guys spoke great lines who wrote history.
I also like the "Bronson-Ed Lauter" couple from "Death Wish 3".When they run in the streets shooting muggers they remind me of the "Newman-Redford" from "Butch Cassidy & The Sundance Kid".
He did great couple with Alain Delon in "Honor Among Thieves".The tough and macho, low-morality man and the young gentle '"boy".
Of course the cat-mouse Palance-Bronson was great in Chato's Land.As far as I remember they don't share not even one single second in the movie.
"Death Hunt" is not available on DVD in my country so I've not seen it but I guess it's gonna be an awesome screen-couple.PLEASE DON'T SPOIL ME ANYTHING.
I also like the funny couple he did with Randy Quaid in "Breakout".
The weirdest and most funny couple was the one he did with the girl Kathleen Wilhoite in "Murphy's law"
I think he would be perfect screen-couple with Jean-Paul Belmondo. Two great craggy-faced tough guys.Too bad something like that never happened.

Good team with John Leyton in "THE GREAT ESCAPE", almost all of his scenes in "THE DIRTY DOZEN" were with Jim Brown. And of course his friendship with Jason Robards in Leone's western. Belmondo was supposed to play Bronson's part in "YOU CAN'T WIN'EM ALL", when the film was called "DUBIOUS PATRIOTS" and it could've been Raoul Walsh's last film, too.

I always see them (Bronson-Belmondo) compared so it's a shame they never made a film together.

real shame, they are my favorite action stars.
The reason maybe was the fact that their style was similar and in Bronson's movies in which he had a co-lead (Alain Delon, Tony Curtis, Toshiro Mifune, Jan-Michael Vincent, James Coburn) the two stars were very different.
