I've read Paul Talbot's 'Bronson's Loose!: The Making of the Death Wish Films' and it was very interesting, but for quite a while now I've been looking without success for a biography of Bronson.
People like Lancaster, McQueen, Cruise etc etc seem to have quite a bit of biographical stuff written about them, and rightly so, but there seems to be nothing of a biographical nature out there about Bronson.
Perhaps its part of the general disregard his work has suffered from, but it's a great pity, because I think he was one of the best actors around, by any strandard.
Anyone know of anything biographical I've missed? I'd appreciate any leads. Thanks.

There were a few quickie bios written during the time Charlie was on top as a movie star. The best one of the lot in my opinion is "Charles Bronson, Superstar" by Steven Whitney. It was published in 1975.

The one Chaney mentioned is the one I read in 1977 when I was in the army. I posted about it last night. It was a good read. I wish I could find it again.
