This is a very cool, interesting and original idea.
About the project:
In the summer of 2009 Friedrich Paravicini meets the hungarian farmhand Robert Kovacs. Paravicini is stunned: Kovacs looks like Charles Bronson, moves like Bronson; even his sparse english statements are sounding damn well like Bronson! All of a sudden, Paravicini sees himself confronted with his old obsession with dirty 60s gangster movies, their sinister protagonists and italian film scores.
Driven by this encounter with the hero of his youth, Paravicini sets out to create „Mister Mandom“, his very own version of a typical movie score. The 13 tracks, instrumentated with severe strings, cristalline cembalo and galvanic guitars, will make you envision your personal Bronson movie right on the spot! Paravicini composes and records his music alone, in style and with deadly precision. No mercy, no compromise: Mister Mandom.
About the composer:
Friedrich Paravicini grew up in 70s Paris and got strongly impregnated by his birth city´s romantic gloom. Soon he developed a growing fascination for rusty cars of extravagant design, cheap novels and movies whose plots included taciturn men and precision rifles. At the same time he studied the cello and took classical piano lessons.
Today Paravicini makes a living by taking on any odd musical job he can get hold of. In the mean time he uses his Hamburg based studio to produce the music of his choice, and he is an avid collector of vintage keyboards and records.

I ordered a copy along with the Rancho Texas fanfilm I wrote about in the other thread, and it's a very good listen. It is apparent that a fan of those Bronson films from the late 60's/early 70's composed this homage soundtrack called Mr. Mandom. It really takes you back to the movies from that time, just close your eyes, listen and it could totally be a real soundtrack from that era that you're listening to.
If you like that music and thought you'd heard it all, Mr. Mandom is a real treat, especially for those of us who collect soundtracks. Highly recommended!
P.S. I've been told a sequel to this, entitled Adieu Mandom, will be released shortly. Really looking forward to that one!
