A great singer and terrific performer. He was under appreciated in his later years. My favourite songs were Folsom Prison and Ring of Fire. A legend

I am calling Death Sentence Part 6 to the series And Stallone's movie Death Wish 7
Any reports when Stallones movie will hit our screens. Will it live up to expectations. I thought it was to released earlier this year but then i saw imdb year changing.
I think in someways its good it got delayed because the public had enough of vigilante movies with Jodie Fosters The Brave one and Kevin Bacon's Death Sentence.
I hope its as good as the original but I am not a big Stallone fan

I think one of Bronson's big mistakes was turning down the leading role in western "LAWMAN". I felt the movie was designed for him, The character been Tough and Silent. To his credit I think Burt Lancaster done a fantastic job and played the part brilliantly.

Probably one the best starts to a western is "From Noon till three" starring Bronson. I can remember when i first got this movie.I watched the first 5 minutes of it and thought wow this is gonna be great. So i switched it off for another night. Boy, was I disappointed when i turned it back on again. In the first 5 minutes of the movie Bronson is dreaming of himself and gang in a bank robbery. They ride in and the town seems empty. They stroll into the bank stuffing their trousers with money. As they ride out of town almost 20 rifles stick out from roof tops of the buildings and Bang. What a excellent start to a western but sadly the rest of the movie didnt live up to expectations.

Love this photo and any photo of him from the movie Red Sun. Its a pity he didnt star in any westerns when he was older. I mean starring in westerns of the calibre of Unforgiven and Tombstone.... Attachments:

I had the fortune meeting actor James Drury star of The Virginian tv series in the 60's. Charlie starred in 2 or 3 episodes alongside James. In his hay day I can safely say James was a tall man near 6ft. At the the age of 75 he is still fairly tall. On screen Bronson seemed alot shorter than The Virginian so thats what I am working from.
