I'm a really big fan of Seagal as some of you may have guessed. He's the real deal and you always know what your gonna get with his movies. One of the best action stars ever in my book.

I've gotta add something to the Lebell/Seagal story, Blackbelt magazine did an investigation and found that the majority of story was myth, primarily the getting choked out part. Every martial artist knows that Seagal is an excellent martial artist and also very tough. As good as Lebell is he wouldn't have been able to beat Seagal who is one of the strongest and best martial artist in movies, he could even rival Bruce Lee when he was younger.
Errol Flynn could be a contender for hardest man in Hollywood, but I can imagine Flynn acting in that manner which you said in the story. It's hard to find the truth about Flynn, I read My Wicked Wicked Ways (Flynn's biography) which is supposedly fabricated for the most part.
Back on topic, if I had to pick the toughest man in Hollywood I'd probably have to go with Bronson or Mitchum.

Yul Brynner has recently become one of my favorite actors. To me, this man is screen presence. He always had amazing performances and a great physique to match. What do you guys think of Brynner? Also does anyone know if he and Bronson got along?

I've just recently started seeing some Mitchum movies. I really enjoyed the Yakuza, as well as Cape fear. His body was not very impressive but you could tell, due to his past and just the way he moved that he was a strong man who wouldn't have any problem handling himself.

I've been a fan of Bruce Lee since I was a little kid, he's basically the reason I do martial arts. I really like the Chinese Connection ( The Big Boss) depending on where your from. I'd have to say Enter The Dragon was one of his weaker movies. Game of Death had potential to be his best but we obviously know why it wasn't It would have been great to see him do his 3 picture deal with George Lazenby (1 time James Bond) which was planned just before his death. Also we can't forget about his physique and speed which really hasn't been surpassed since.

As you guys know, I'm a big fan of Jason Statham, the Crank movies are great. I'm not a huge fan of Transporter but pretty much all his movies are enjoyable, If you want to see him in a serious role watch the movie Revolver. BTW as much and I like Statham this makes me very angry: www.imdb.com/title/tt0472399/

Since I've seen the interest in Charles Bronson's workout on this forum. I was wondering if anyone has tried to emulate his workout techniques, or find something similar. If so have their been any results?

I don't know much about Cash, but I have heard a few of his songs and haven't been disappointed. The songs I like are: Hurt and Ring of Fire. I heard more of his music through a singer who does a few Cash covers by the name of Nick Cave, another good singer worth listening to if you like that sort of thing.

I saw this movie the other day and thought it was a pretty good western, minus Nero's dubbing. Has anyone else seen this movie or any of Franco Nero's other movies? I'm interested to see what Street Law would be like considering how much it seems to be like Death Wish.

I like Remar in pretty much everything i've seen him in, he's a pretty distinctive actor. I've gotta find The Long Riders, so I can see him in different movies. By the way when I mentioned Brolin I wasn't trying to say he was in Bronson's league just as close as I think a modern star has got. But I think most of the guys we've mentioned on this topic so far, are as close as anyone has gotten so far.

Yea maybe it is today's movie style, also a lot of actors haven't exactly had to go to war or work in the coal mines, usually quite the opposite. Although I think most people will disagree, a new actor who has the IT factor is Josh Brolin, that's my opinion anyway. What do you guys think of Brolin as a movie toughguy?

I liked him a lot in The Departed but I can't say he has impressed me much since then, although Shooter was OK. But he is missing something I just can't put my finger on it.

I didn't know where else to put this, but I was wondering if we could have a general chat section on these forums. I think this would add to the longevity of these forums, because there is only so much Bronson related material we can talk about. Thanks

To be honest I'm kinda glad I didn't, especially after reading a lot of the stories on this forum. Like maphillips3 said he seemed like a tough guy to get to know and even to talk to.
