That's funny "arthurbishop". I feel that Steven is good in the roles that he plays, sometimes you are only good at a certain something, and you just have to find your niche, and these Acton films are what he is good at.

I agree about lead female character, but I believe it was more of the directors fault, because he should have yelled CUT! When the actress was saying the lines so awfull, and teach her how to protray a loud mouth punk properly, and Charlie wasn't as tough because he was trying to hard to be funny and tough at the same time, but it came off bad.

I believe "DONATO & DAUGHTER"(DEAD TO RIGHTS), is a movie that I have not seen, but would love to see. Thanks "taffin" for giving such a great endorsement!

I remember a couple of years ago I was having a conversation about Paul Newman, and we started talking about some of the movies he's been in, and we got to the movie "Pocket Money", and he told me that Lee and Paul didn't get along, and nearly came to blows on the set, but I never heard anything about that, so was wondering if anyone knew anything about that.

I heard these two did not get along on the set of "PAINT YOUR WAGON". What was the rift between these two?

I believe Charlie was a tough guy, but did not know that most people were afraid of him. Other than the "DIRTY DOZEN & DEATH HUNT". I don;t of any other movie that most of the cast was afraid of him. Do you have any stories about this CHANEY?

That's a nice story, I fill people that are quiet usually get a bad rap, because people feel they are unfriendly jerks, but there was alot of people that liked Charlie.

Thanks CHANEY! I remember starting a topic about Danny's relationship with Charlie, and glad to know that they knew each other. I agree with Danny's assessment about Charlie getting out of shape, and looking old after Jill died, it seemed to take alot of the life right out of him.

I would like to know more about this actor. He was in some of my favorite movies in the eighties, and a real tough guy off.

Yeah the guy couldn't act very well, and another reason is because he relied so much on his martial arts, that once started gaining all that weight, he couldn't perform his own fight scenes, and that REALLY hurt the movies productivity.
