I felt in the early sixties he had his best physique(THE MAGNIFICENT SEVEN & THE GREAT ESCAPE), but for the most impressive, I go for some his 80's movies(DEATH HUNT, THE EVIL THAT MEN DO, AND MURPHY'S LAW), because at that age, you shouldn't have a body like that. Its ridicules!

I love these Leo Gorden stories! I'm pretty sure there are more, especially during his stint in "Sam Quentin". I wonder if anyone knows of these stories.

I agree, Charlie at the beginning of his career made a point to better his acting, so to someday become a leading man, not to necessarily become a great actor, but to make the most possible money in the industry, but after he became a huge movie star, he didn;t really care much about looking at his own movies, as he was in the past, because he had accomplished everything he set out to do.

I remember he got into a well publicized fight with his then wife in a restaurant, that resulted in her hitting him the head, with a glass bottle.

Laurence was a interesting guy. I remember after having a stroke in his seventies, that didn't slow him down, and remember he was still picking fights with people, even though he had one side of his body paralyzed. The guy had no fear.

Man, you think when you pull a gun on someone, you have the upper hand, and they tremble in fear, but you never think that they will man up, and beat the hell out of you, and nearly choke you to death! Know wonder "William Smith" said he was the TOUGHEST of his era in Hollywood.

Thanks CHANEY, I did not know all of this about Mr. Taylor. I only remember him from "THE TRAIN ROBBERS", with John Wayne and Ben Johnson.

Pretty amazing news too read. You wish that we could all just get along, but that just isn't the case, so these "vigilante style" style killings are eventually going to happen, but if the government would actually make a stand about crime, then no one would actually have to resort to this. I wish you guys the best in dealing with this lack of gumption, and hope everything works out.

I agree "biggestfan". I liked Seagals earlier stuff(1988-1997), but he has really worn out the perfect action hero.
