I noticed the same "puffy look" in several episodes of "THE TRAVELS OF JAMIE McPHEETERS" made three years earlier. Odd...

Well... It's not a great book. But it's touching, not too trashy and Bronson's portrait seems accurate. Strange guy ! Incredibly rare pictures, too but poorly printed. Worth a look, but for Bronson fans only. There's almost nothing about his movies, his relationships with directors.

Recently, IMDB put a new entry in Bronson's page : the first episode of "FIRESIDE THEATRE" shot in New York in 1949. Bronson - in his very first appearence - shared the screen with Brynner and his wife Virginia Gilmore...

In an article on the Web, actor John Bromfield wrote that Bronson "played an Indian deputy" in six of my "SHERIFF OF COCHISE" show..." Bronson is credited to have made one episode as "APACHE KID" of this series, but what of this semi-regular ? It's not registered anywhere. Who's ever heard of it ?

Right. "THE STORY OF JERRY BELL" was a lot like this old Chaplin movie : Bronson playing an ugly guy, who uses the million dollars he wins, to pay for an operation on a blind girl he's in love with. But he's afraid she'll leave him, when she'll be able to take a good look at his face. A film every Bronson fan would love to see, one day...

It's disappointing allright, if you expect a straight western. But "FROM NOON TILL THREE" is just set in the western period, that's all. It's a satirical comedy about John Ford's famous line : "In the West, when the legend becomes fact, print the legend". I think it's an unusual and clever movie. And Bronson is VERY surprising, in it.

I'm surprised nobody had a thought for "Old Stone Face", on his 88th birthday... Like Bronson said in "VILLA RIDES", after shooting one of his noisy henchmen : "Where are your manners ?"

INCREDIBLE ! I took a recent look at IMDB, and "TEN NORTH FREDERICK" is back in Bronson's films list ! This time as "Minor role" ! Who put it back there ? BRONSON IS NOT IN THIS FILM !!! I think it's a curse, and this film he never made, will follow Bronson forever...

There are no missing scenes. It's an entirely different editing, with another negative, alternative takes. Two versions (english and french) were shot at the same time. Maybe the english speaking one is shorter, because Bronson talks faster in his own language...

Hill even said that Bronson often "protected" him against a constantly reluctant and moody Coburn. Yes, that sounds strange...
