Oh, I see. Then all you'll have to do is to get an account at either Imageshack or Photobucket, you can upload them there and you'll get a link which you can use to post pictures here on the forum.

It's official, which is what makes it so awesome! I mean how many companies would put the "F" word on a cover? ;D You can attach images to your posts quite easily. Just right click on a picture, click on "Properties" I think it's called, then copy the name of the file/link. Then paste it here within this mark that you can use on the forum: [/img] Hope that helped.

Yeah, I wasn't comparing them as persons, just the way many of their movies go. Them wanting revenge and kicking some serious bad-guy ass.

You won't hear me disagree with that ;D Here is another kick-ass DVD cover, which is the new one used for the first Death Wish movie: Only gripe I have with it is that Kersey doesn't get that gun he's holding until the third movie Still looks great, though.

Wow, thank you all for these quotes & stories from people who have worked with Bronson. crego & chaney seems to be the fountains of knowledge when it comes to these things. Very interesting thread & I appreciate the effort you've made posting here.

A solid action thriller starring Charles Bronson as an aging hitman. This movie is very typical of the kind that were made back in the 70's, with more focus being put on suspense rather than action. They did a good job of portraying the routines of a hitman, it was interesting and well made. There's a pretty amazing motorcycle chase scene in the middle of the movie that needs to be seen.
The movie has its flaws though. For one, I think they rushed the apprentice part, or they just didn't write that part as good as they could have. He had been teaching him for a way too short amount of time for his apprentice to be given the "go" to kill his very own, much, much more experienced teacher.
As for the end, I thought the very last scene was pretty cool, but I didn't like the fact that Bronson's character was foolish enough to get himself killed once their mission was over, when he knew he was going to be next in line. IMO the ending would have been better if he'd somehow known he was going to get killed by poison and faked getting poisoned, then surprised the apprentice when he'd gotten home again, by blowing his brains out.
Anyone, good luck to Jason Statham in trying to carry Bronson's jockstrap. He'll need it.

I was shocked when I heard Bronson had done some work on his face. He's the last guy I'd expect do such a thing in Hollywood. Guess I can't blame him, though. Maybe he would have looked too old later in his career if he hadn't made that face-lift? I don't know. Still prefer the old Bronson to the new one, of course. As for the movie we're discussing in this topic...
I was kind of disappointed in this one, which so many seem to hold dear to their hearts when it comes to Bronson's action movies from the Cannon era.
Bronson is good in it, though surprisingly talkative and less trigger happy. The guy who plays the serial killer does a damn good job and is creepy as hell, it's the rest of the supporting cast that doesn't quite cut it. I think the pacing of the movie is what hurts it the most, it feels pretty slow at times, and unlike a good action thriller that gives us suspense between all the action, this being a Cannon film, we simply get lots and lots of nudity instead. Female and male.
I will have to watch this again to better judge it, I guess I thought it would be more action-packed. Had no idea the psycho in this was the brother to the wonderful Brad Davis who left us too soon.

A surprisingly good murder mystery movie that will have you guessing until the very end. The movie stars Charles Bronson in a different role than the ones he usually plays.
Like harmonica mentions, it feels more like a TV-movie than one produced by Cannon. There's hardly any cheese in it at all, I must say. Just an entertaining thriller that is worth a watch.

Anyone know what episode of The Simpsons that was from? The clip has been taken away but I know it's from an episode of The Simpsons. I've downloaded and cut the other two (that I am aware of) scenes where Bronson is referred to on the show.

I've always felt that Steven Seagal was the Bronson of our time, note the "was." Between 1988-2001 he made some awesome movies and often played someone that was out for revenge. He looked like he meant business, much more of a bad-ass than most action stars can say.
I personally dislike the hell out of Statham, IMO he has pretty much zero charisma and his movies simply stink C-grade. Don't get me started on Vin Diesel...

Charles Bronson is from the old school of action, none of that sissy stuff that is going on today with steroids, supplements and all that. Bronson's body was built with pure will and determination.
