Welcome to the forum, Kid Sister 33, please feel free to join the forum as well! The creator of BLue Bloods has actually gone on record that these movies were the inspiration for that show.

Are there any members on the forum who collect Charles Bronson merchandise on top of buying his movies on VHS/DVD/Blu-ray? Stuff like posters, photos, figures, soundtracks etc? I've collected Bronson merchandise for some years now, there are some very cool items to be found out there. Mass-produced, promotional, fanmade, bootlegs, one of a kind items etc. You never know what you can find in the world of Charles Bronson collecting. Here's a photo from the collection of a guy over at We Are Movie Geeks (http://www.wearemoviegeeks.com/) who is a huge Bronson fan, to give you an idea of what's out there:

I watched this on a Spanish DVD and had a hard time getting into it due to the poor quality. The picture was OK but it was non-anamorphic and very small on my TV screen and the audio was out of synch for the entire movie, moreso in the first 5-10 minutes. I'd like to get a better copy, but it seems the Spanish DVD is the only one available at the moment, which is a real shame. You'd think a Bronson/Curtis movie would have gotten a good release by now when much lesser movies of Bronson's have.

A guy on eBay are selling some rare photos of Bronson, this one really made me raise my eyebrows. I mean really, what the hell is the story behind this picture? Charles Bronson and Michael Caine together, wearing tophats! It's from the early 80's I'd say.

Before reading this thread, I thought this was considered by most Bronson fans as one of his worst movies. I also didn't know there was a GOOD print of this on DVD, either. I thought all of them were VHS or less quality, there's a new Danish release that even states on the back that the quality is that of a VHS. I also have the Laserlight release due to the nice intro by Tony Curtis, but now I must get the English release as well since it has better picture quality.

I didn't even know Marvin was in this the first time I saw it. Even though they don't have a lot of screentime, I think it was a very enjoyable spy thriller, and I'm not usually a fan of those. Worth a purchase for the completist as well as for those who just likes good movies.

Man, this movie was just awful. Awful! Horrible job by the director Richard Donner and the editing is a mess. It's edited in a way that will make your heart ache, everything goes so fast. I guess it would suit today's young audience, though. I get that it's supposed to be like that but it's not very effective since it ends up just being annoying. Speaking of annoying, so is Susan George's character Twinky, I just want to hit her!
I have no idea what Charlie was thinking with this one. It's easily the worst movie of his I've ever seen.

I think this is a very underrated movie. I keep hearing this one is just for die hard Bronson fans. That's bullshit. I think it's a very clever, intriguing thriller with good acting from both its leading actors. I think they would have been great if they had switched parts as well. Definitely a great performance by Bronson.

I remember a few years ago, here in the forum, Chaney said something about a picture of a tan Charlie standing on the beach in shorts with his shirt off. I wonder if that's the picture Chaney was referring to. Here is the link: charlesbronsoncom.proboards.com/post/289 I remember that and wanting to see that picture. I don't think this is the same picture. He's not necessarily on the beach, his hands are not on his hips and he doesn't look like he did in the mid 1980's.
